Service

Training and community support

Short, practical sessions for teams who work with people who speak other languages, so every interpreted conversation goes further.

Working with interpreters

How to brief, where to sit, how to pace a conversation, and what to do when it is not going well.

Engaging communities

Reaching people who do not read your leaflets and do not come to your meetings.

Culture and communication

Plain-spoken sessions on how culture shapes what people say, and how to ask better questions.

Built around your team

We shape each session around your setting, your team size and the time you have.

How it works

Three steps, no fuss.

  1. A short conversation

We ask what your team faces, the languages you meet and the time you can give.

  2. We design the session

Practical, with real scenarios from your own service.

  3. Delivered and followed up

In person or online, with a short summary your team can keep.

Questions

How long is a workshop?

Typically one to two hours, but shorter lunchtime sessions and longer half-day formats are possible.

Is the training accredited?

We do not claim accreditation for these sessions. They are practical workshops. If you need certified CPD, tell us and we will be honest about whether we can provide it.
