Pashto interpreting and translation in Scotland
Pashto interpreting and translation for people and organisations across Scotland, in person, by phone and by video.
About Pashto
Pashto is one of the two main languages of Afghanistan and is also widely spoken in the north-west of Pakistan. Many people who have settled in Scotland speak it as their first language, and they often have to deal with the NHS, the council, schools and the courts in English.
Pashto has regional dialects, and the words people use for medical, legal and everyday matters can differ between them. When you book, tell us where the person is from and whether they have a preference, and we will match the interpreter to the conversation.
Booking tips for Pashto
- Tell us the person's region or dialect if you know it.
- If the person prefers a male or female interpreter, say so when you book. We will do our best to match it.
- For documents, tell us who will read the translation and whether it needs to be signed or stamped for an official body.
