Legal and justice
Police interpreting in Scotland
Clear communication matters most when people are stressed. We interpret for victims, witnesses and others in contact with the police, and we support the organisations who stand beside them.
When people call us
- Victim and witness support
- Legal advice before or after police contact
- Voluntary statements and follow-up calls with support organisations
- Community safety and engagement events
- Translation of letters and notices
How we approach it
Neutral and exact
We interpret exactly what is said by each person. We do not ask extra questions or explain procedure.
Steady under pressure
Interpreters keep a calm pace in difficult conversations and ask for repetition when anything is unclear.
Confidential
Details of any matter are never discussed outside the booking.
